100L Tilting Mixer for Doughs, Batters and Food Mixtures
The Mak Mix 100L tilting mixer is a practical solution for bakeries, confectionery production, catering operations, and food-processing facilities that need to prepare larger batches of liquid and semi-liquid mixtures.
The mixer is equipped with a specially designed perforated flat paddle agitator that works effectively with low- and medium-consistency products. The vessel can be tilted into several working positions during mixing, changing the way the product moves inside the bowl. This gravity-assisted movement helps ingredients circulate through the mixing zone instead of simply moving around the vessel with the paddle.
This makes the mixer suitable for preparing products such as pancake and waffle batters, biscuit and cake mixtures, creams, sauces, pastry mixtures, and other similar products.
Better Mixing Through Tilting
The vessel can be tilted up to 110°, allowing the operator to adjust the working position according to the product being processed.
Tilting changes the flow of the mixture inside the vessel and helps bring ingredients back into the active mixing area. This can be particularly useful for lighter mixtures where conventional horizontal mixing may leave parts of the product moving less effectively.
The same tilting system also makes unloading much easier. After mixing, the vessel can be tilted forward so that the product flows out under gravity, reducing the amount of manual scraping required.
Designed for Consistent Batters and Mixtures
The perforated paddle agitator provides intensive mixing while maintaining controlled product movement. It can be used for products ranging from relatively thin batters to thicker mixtures.
The mixer can help with:
- Pancake and waffle batter – uniform mixing of liquid and dry ingredients
- Cake and biscuit batter – thorough incorporation of ingredients
- Pastry creams and similar mixtures – even product consistency
- Sauces and creams – uniform mixing throughout the batch
- Other liquid and semi-liquid food mixtures requiring intensive mechanical mixing
The mixing system is also designed to help break up dry ingredient lumps and distribute flour and other powders throughout the liquid phase.
Key Advantages
Gravity-Assisted Mixing
The bowl can be tilted during operation to change the product flow and improve circulation through the mixing zone. This can provide more effective mixing than keeping the vessel in a fixed horizontal position, depending on the product and mixing conditions.
Fast and Almost Complete Emptying
With a maximum tilt of 110°, the vessel can be positioned for quick product discharge. The steep angle allows gravity to do most of the work, helping reduce product remaining in the bowl after processing.
100L Capacity
The 100L vessel is suitable for larger production batches while maintaining a compact mobile design. The mixer can be moved around the production area by a single operator and positioned where it is needed.
Powerful 0.55 kW Geared Motor
The professional geared motor provides the torque required to start and mix demanding food mixtures. The drive is designed for reliable operation in regular production environments.
Mobile Stainless Steel Construction
The mixer is built on a robust stainless steel frame with four castor wheels and brakes, allowing it to be repositioned easily and securely locked in place during operation.
Product-contact parts are manufactured from food-grade AISI 304 stainless steel or certified food-contact materials, with polished internal surfaces for easier cleaning and hygienic processing.
Easy Cleaning
The lid and mixing assembly can be removed quickly, providing better access to the inside of the vessel for cleaning and sanitation. The design also keeps the drive components separated from the product zone.
Operator Safety
The lid is equipped with a safety system that stops the agitator when the lid is opened. A protective grid helps prevent access to the moving mixing assembly during operation.
Applications
The 100L Mak Mix is suitable for producing:
- Pancake batter
- Waffle batter
- Cake batter
- Biscuit mixtures
- Pastry creams
- Sauces
- Cream-based mixtures
- Other liquid and semi-liquid doughs and food mixtures
The mixer can also be configured for other applications where the selected mixing attachment and processing method are suitable.
Basic Configuration
The 100L version includes a stainless steel working vessel suspended on a mobile support frame, a mechanical tilting system with multiple working positions up to 110°, and a mixing assembly driven by a 0.55 kW geared motor.
The support frame is fitted with castor wheels and brakes for mobility and stable positioning. The top lid includes a safety system that stops the mixer when the lid is opened.
Available Options
Frequency converter control panel – IP66
Allows the mixer speed to be adjusted according to the product and processing requirements.
Drain valve
Provides controlled discharge of suitable liquid products without needing to tilt the entire vessel.
